Glowing golden yellow foliage on this pretty form of Wild Garlic or Ramsons. Heads of white flowers in spring. Self seeds true to type and is smaller than the green form. 20cm.
I know, you are probably thinking why would I want to grow Wild Garlic in the garden, even if it has a golden yellow leaf?! Well, I was given this a few years ago and was initially very sceptical, expecting it to take over the nursery at a moments notice. I'm please to say it hasn't taken over and I've become rather fond of the foliage and flower combination in the spring. If you're still worried, just dead head the thing!
I'm sure it can be eaten just like the normal green form but haven't tried it yet.
