A beautiful and fairly hardy species with masses of soft lilac pink flowers with golden centres from midsummer into late autumn on wiry stems to 1.2m. Drained soil in full sun with a deep mulch or protect in winter.
AGM Unusual lanceolate leaves on a willowy upright plant producing masses of elegant red and purple flowers from midsummer. Distinctive reddish stems. Should be hardy in drained soil, best in some shade.
TENDER Scented. AGM Chunky foliage and enormous bright pink flowers with darker, near black, feathered markings from early spring through summer. Impressive! 40cm.

TENDER Wonderful grey succulent leaves with scalloped margins and a good display of clear salmon pink, narrow petalled, flowers all summer. Protect from frost. Semi-trailing habit.
TENDER Usually mis-labelled simply as P. sidoides this beautiful hybrid has sprays of burgundy red flowers from greyish foliage on a scrambling plant to 30cm.
Stunning sky blue flowers from spring to autumn on this modern S. chamelaeagnea hybrid from New Zealand. Scented foliage is a bright, fresh green. 60cm in a sunny spot with good, drained soil. Probably not fully hardy.
A stunning, hardy, Salvia involucrata hybrid makes an upright bushy plant with spires of brilliant deep almost purplish pink flowers to 90cm. Drained soil in full sun.
