Stunning recent form with soft pink flowers with pale yellow lips and throat - delicious! Herbaceous tuber. Hardy in drained soils, full sun. 2m.
I have a reputation for tasteless colour clashes (typically magenta and golden yellow) but this is a more subtle harmonious blend of pastel shades that work really well together. It does look slightly odd at first sight but that never stopped me!
Often sold as a seed raised annual the normal bright yellow, orange or red Chilean Glory vine has a lovely subtle creamy yellow cousin. Although sold as an annual and touted as being tender, Eccremocarpus 'Pink Lemonade' is definitely perennial and should be hardy in most of the UK given good drainage and a mulch of compost or bark (or something else similar). If you wish it can be grown successfully in a pot and taken inside for the winter - just plan a good support for it!
