A more compact Meadow Rue with finely divided fresh green foliage and panicles of creamy yellowish flowers to 1m in summer. Best in good soil in part shade.

An attractive plant albeit not one that puts on a loud "look at me" show!  Those star performer plants always need a good surrounding cast of quieter but still valuable plants and this delicate looking (but tough) Thalictrum simplex certainly fits the bill.

Native to damp places from Europe through to the far East, perfectly hardy.

Small Meadow Rue.
