Cheerful pink marked white flowers from November throughout winter and spring, peaking in March to May. Groundcover for part shade or shade. 45cm.

Vinca difformis makes an effective and easier to control groundcover compared to the common Vinca major.  To reduce spreading cut to the ground in midwinter, this will sacrifice some early flowers but more will be produced in spring on the new growth.

All forms of Vinca difformis can suffer from some frost damage but this can be prevented by growing them underneath overhanging shrubs, trees etc, or bamboo!

From south western Europe - France, Spain, Italy and neighbouring areas.
