A lovely rich green form of this robust New Zealand sedge. Dense clumps of arching foliage make attractive additions to the front of borders or gravel gardens. 40cm tall x up to 1m across. Good soil in sun.

Normally seen in a chestnut brown version but this green one is just as useful in the garden and avoids the usual disparaging remarks about "dead grass"!

Known as "trip-me-up grass" in its native land as the insignificant flowers are on wiry stems that elongate once fertile and provide you with the opportunity to stand on one end while trying to pass your other foot through the loop you've created.

Hardy most winters in the UK and best in a good soil that doesn't dry out, in New Zealand it even grows in quite wet places.
