A new introduction. Clumps of arching green foliage and stems to 75cm producing the greenish brown flowers in midsummer. Excellent warm golden yellow autumn and winter colour. Good soil in sun.
Not sure of the origin - we obtained it from a collector in the Netherlands in 2010.
Listed in the RHS Plant Finder as a cultivar of Molinia caerulea ssp. arundinacea but it is not. The boundaries between the two subspecies are gtting blurred but this belongs in the lower growing group, ssp. caerulea.

The taller subspecies of Molinia, typically growing to 2m in height. Clumps of mid green foliage and strong upright but arching stems bearing purplish flowers in late summer/autumn. Yellow-orange autumn stem and foliage colour. Deciduous.
