AGM Stunning crabapple with masses of pinkish flowers that opent o bright white, strongly scented in mid-spring. Followed by bunches of small red fruits and autumn foliage. 4m+.
Our stock is very close to the type seen and much admired at Great Dixter, probably the same clone as it is apomictic (genetically identical from seed). I first planted it without realising just what a superb tree it is, compact enough for most gardens and looking good most of the year from it's silvery grey winter bark, spring flowers, delicate foliage, heavy crops of perfect little red apples and excellent autumn foliage colour.
We offer bushy, multistem plants (45-90cm) for mail order and also have some taller, single stem whips (1m+) for sale to visitors to the nursery. Same pots and same price. Please don't beg for us to post the whips, they are too tall for our courier.
Hubeh crabapple.
