The Award of Garden Merit (AGM) issued by the Royal Hoticultural Society (RHS) helps gardeners find reliable, consistent plants that will provide particularly good value in the garden.The award is granted after trials at the RHS’ garden at Wisley in Surrey and/or assessment at specialist collections or discussion at meetings. AGM Hair-like bright green foliage to 40cm. the flowers fountain up and form a light layer of wispy hair-like material over the top of the foliage. Drained soil in sun.
AGM. Clumps of upright, branching stems with masses of lavender flowers in autumn. Dark stems and foliage contrast well. 1m Average soil in sun or part shade.
AGM A compact hybrid with grassy foliage and masses of light lilac pink flowers with darker centres all summer. Maybe hardy in well drained soil in full sun or grow in a pot and take in overwinter. 40cm.
AGM Pretty silvery white variegated form of this tough bulbous southern African plant. Heads of cheerful lilac-purple flowers all summer and autumn. 60cm.
