An overlooked foliage shrub with glossy green leaves turning bronzy red in winter. Largely evergreen here. Low growing to 50cm, spreading in time. Sun or shade.
Most gardeners are familiar with the small leafed variegated forms of Euonymus fortunei but this larger leafed form deserves consideration too - and not just as a car park shrub! Useful for those difficult spaces where you want to hide something with a low mounding shrub. 'Dart's Blanket' has the potential to climb too, given a suitable structure.
Euonymus fortunei 'Minimus'£5.00
Amazing little hummocks of tiny leaves that slowly mound up to create self-supporting spires to 45cm. Evergreen, for sun or partial shade.
Lilium lancifolium var. fortunei£6.50
A giant form of Tiger Lily with the brilliant, burnt, orange flowers spotted with deep brown on robust stems to 2.4m. Ordinary soil in sun or light shade.
