Heavily fringed, near white flowers with a central crimson ring that extends into a bar down the centre of each petal. A compact pink for rockery or front of border in full sun and drained soil. 20cm.

Hopefully the name gives away the secret - 'Tatra Fragrance' has really good scent!

One of a series of similar hybrids raised at Cally Gardens by the late Michael Wickenden.  Parents are supposed to be Dianthus superbus ssp. alpestris and Dianthus 'Caesar's Mantle' though many list the Tatra cultivars as forms of Dianthus lumnitzeri for some reason.
