As you can see we grow a very wide range of Ornamental Grasses and appreciate that the size of the list can be daunting if you don't know what you are looking for. To start with the Refine options down the left hand column can help you to find suitable grasses by choosing colour, height etc. If you only have a small space don't discount taller grasses. Sometimes a tall, narrow grass that takes up very little area can be really effective in a narrow border.

Bright shiny green leaves on rich mahogany stems. Bristly bottle-brush-like flowers open green, tinged red, and turn strawy for the winter. 1.5m. Fantastic autumn foliage colour.
African Love Grass. Fine, dark green drooping leaves and graceful, arching black flowers from May to October. Evergreen for a warm sunny, well drained position. 90cm.
Brilliant clumps of bright grey, fine foliage and arching stems of charcoal grey flowers all summer and into autumn. For a well drained soil in full sun, an ideal ornamental grass in a big container too.

Decorative perennial grass from N. America. Upright stems topped with bristly bottle brush like flower spikes to 1.2m. Greyish white stems and good autumn foliage. Average soil in sun or part shade.
Similar, but different, to L. arenarius with bright grey foliage, this is shorter, less arching and not quite so invasive! 50cm. Well drained sunny position.

A new species to us collected in Yunnan, China. Clumps of upright, arching stems with a distinctly greyish appearance. Pinkish summer flowers soon turn a silvery grey by autumn. 1.2m.
